PB3 was originally made up of three brothers, Lil Richye, King K (Keyshawn) and Trickye Rickye (Rickye)Porter. PB3 stands for Porter Boys 3. Lil Richye is  the eldest brother which is now a solo artist leaving the youngest two to become a dynamic duo.  The boys fell in love with hip hop at  very young  ages when their parents started their own record label (Let’s Ride Records) and hosted events giving up and coming artist opportunities to be on Bet 106& Park so they were around  music day and night. The oldest  of the two brothers Keyshawn (King K) is  an all american sportsman and a self taught engineer. Playing sports from football, track, soccer, basketball as well boxing. King K is also the laid back but serious one in the group. Rickye ( Trickye Rickye) aka Baby  is the baby of the group. Trickye is a free spirit and the life of the party and absolutely loves everything he does. With these  brothers having very different personalities they have opened their minds to all genres of music that they love.These brothers started rapping because one day while riding in the car,  every song that was on every station was inappropriate for them to listen to so they definitely couldn’t repeat it or sing along with it. So Lil Richye decided that since 90% of the songs was inappropriate for them  to hear that they should make music not only for them but kids their age as well. Their music talks about how they feel about the world today and their feelings while growing up. In 2017 PB3 won best hip hop group of the year at the 11th annual Queen City Music Awards and in 2021 they won best hip hop group at the youth empowerment awards.PB3 is ready for the world and bringing real messages that everyone can relate too while having fun doing it.
